Thomas Liu Director, Beijing

Thomas Liu is a Director at Hill & Knowlton China. With an extensive knowledge and rich experience in technology, finance and consumer product fields, Thomas provides strategic counsel, overseas planning and implementation of communications programs for a number of clients such as HP, SolidWorks, EADS, Deloitte, UKTI, Coca Cola, Bluetooth SIG and CA. He is also responsible for new business development and team management. 

Prior to joining Hill and Knowlton, Thomas worked with Hoffman Agency as a senior consultant. His clients included electronics companies such as Xilinx, and Zarlink, as well as telecom and software vendors, like Riverstone, and TIBCO. Before Hoffman, Thomas worked with PRAP PR agency and Ogilvy H-Line, where he gained broad IT experience through serving Intel, Microsoft, Symantec, Samsung, EPSON, Dell, Toshiba, etc. He also organized high-profile events including the visit of Andrew Grove (Intel former CEO), Bill Gates (Microsoft CEO), and Microsoft China Institute opening. 

Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Beijing Institute of Technology. He is fluent in Chinese and English. Thomas loves sports, music, movie, reading and travel.
