- Appointed as Shanghai World Expo 2010's PR agency and provided communications services to promote a positive image of Shanghai World Expo 2010.
- Appointed by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) as its official communications partner and helped promote a positive image of the Beijing Olympics 2008.
- First international agency appointed by China’s State Council Information Office for Spokesperson and Crisis and Issues Management Training in 2005. Hill+Knowlton Strategies equipped over 400 spokespersons from central and provincial governments with the skills necessary to handle future crises.
- First agency to ensure China's place on the global sporting stage. H+K managed an all-encompassing media and communications program for the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, the first world-class sporting event in China, and contributed to the event's overall success and selection as "ATP Tournament of the Year".
- Launched Asia’s first live webcast for a leading international brand in 2001.
- Launched McDonald’s first store in China in 1989 which was broadcast live globally.
- First agency to launch a PR event in Tian'anmen Square in 1985. General Motors donated 20 Cadillacs to China CITIC, which were driven through Tian’anmen Square.
