Jessica Yu Senior Vice President, Director, Corporate Communication,  Beijing

CURRENT POSITION
Jessica Yu, Senior Vice President of Hill & Knowlton, joined the company in 2002 as Director of the corporate communications team. She leads client work on PetroChina, P&G,  Mercedes-Benz, Continental Airlines, JLL, BBDC and Avery Dennison. She possesses particular expertise in the auto and energy industries.

PRIOR HISTORY
Before joining H&K, Jessica was a director at Ruder Finn where she managed a range of consumer accounts that included Audi and Michelin. Prior to that she was a manager in the public relations and corporate communication department of Daimler Chrysler China Ltd..  Here she focused primarily on media relations and brand promotion. She has also worked for Mercedes-Benz China Ltd. as part of the public relations and corporate communications department.   At the onset of her career, Jessica worked in several different capacities – including as an economist – for several import and export companies within China.

OTHER INFORMATION
Ms. Yu holds an MBA from the American City University as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. She is fluent in Mandarin and English and conversational German.
