Jean Wylie is a Director at Hill & Knowlton Beijing, responsible for the design and delivery of strategic marketing communications programs to support clients'business growth and brand equity. Over the past decade and half Jean has worked with many of the world's largest brands in both the Chinese and the UK market. These include: Coca-Cola, Adidas and Procter & Gamble.

Jean's particular area of expertise lies in developing marketing communications campaigns for multiple stakeholders. She focuses on utilizing the most innovative and creative techniques and communication channels to ensure cut-through and maximise return on investment and aims to provide seamless integration through the marketing mix. In 2001, Jean put together the seemingly impossible by creating, staging an interactive media experience with a simultaneous live Webcast in Beijing and Shanghai. The campaign fused on and offline communication channels and involved interactive and two way dialogue with media and consumers alike.

Underpinning all her campaigns is a deep understanding of Chinese consumers and landscape. She ensures that her team is connected and in touch with trend leaders and key influencers who can provide clients with insights and expert opinion as well as real credibility. Equally important, is her passion for trends and lifestyles. In 2004, she created the most definitive guide to Chinese youth trends. In 2004, she initiated and created the H&K China Cool Hunt which examined "what's hot and what's not" among Chinese University Students.

Training, nurturing and developing the best and the brightest talent in China to ensure the highest quality of international standard work for clients is also a key focus for Jean.

Prior to coming to work in Hill & Knowlton's Shanghai office in 2001, Jean worked at Hill & Knowlton in London. She joined the Brand Marketing team and worked as an Associate Director with responsibility for developing holistic and integrated campaigns for a diverse range of clients in the FMCG; automotive, travel and retail industries. 

Before starting her professional career in PR, she worked in West Africa as a Volunteer Teacher.

Jean graduated from St. Andrew's University Scotland with an MA in Geography and Social Anthropology.
